The second bank holiday meeting in succession at Standlake saw another strong turnout of 26 cars in the pits. There was a track debut for former BriSCA racer 746 Gary Kitching along with a first Standlake appearance for Ringwood racer 295 Leo Freebody. The entry was completed by regular Grimley visitors, 42 Ash Greening, 245 Kyle Broadway, 252 Izzy and 299 Will Jackson and 716 Jim Muckian.

16 cars were out for heat 1 on a very dusty track, with 254 Harry Heffer making the strongest start to lead into turn 1 ahead of 542 Martin Chard and Broadway. 255 Joshua Heffer snatched 3rd from Broadway on turn 3, while 535 Ryan Stoodley passed 563 Keith Walding. Kitching was an early spinner on turn 2, as Broadway retook 3rd place from Joshua Heffer a lap later. 6 Tyler Newman then reeled in Broadway and Heffer for 3rd, the latter also losing out to 280 Pete Webb.
856 Paul Webb was spun on turn 2 by Will Jackson as the pair briefly tangled up and dropped back down the order. Izzy Jackson then passed Pete Webb for 5th as Stoodley gained on the pair and moved into 4th. Webb and Walding then moved Izzy Jackson wide on turn 3, with Walding making a move on the 280 car into turn 1 to move up into 5th. Webb was then under attack from Muckian and 155 Carl Lewis around turn 2 as both drivers gained a place, with Muckian also picking off Jackson towards the end of the lap.
Greening moved into the top 10 as he reeled in 109 Stuart Biddle down the back straight as Broadway came under attack from the pack behind him and lost several places in one corner, dropping him to 7th. Stoodley bested Chard for 2nd on the home straight as Walding went wide on turn 1, allowing Muckian and Lewis through into 4th and 5th respectively as Greening gained 9th from Pete Webb. Lewis passed Muckian on turn 3, before the 716 car was helped around on turn 2 by Walding and dropped a couple of places as he recovered from the infield.
Lewis gained on Chard for 3rd, with Walding also coming through on the 542 car shortly afterwards. Harry Heffer then lost the lead on turn 1 as Lewis jumped from 3rd to 1st in one move, with Stoodley slotting in to 2nd place as the 3 lap board was shown.
Heffer and Walding then tangled on turn 1 as the pair both spun out, while Greening picked up several places and moved into 5th behind Muckian. Biddle passed Newman for 8th as Will Jackson gained on Pete Webb for 10th. Greening snatched 4th from Muckian right at the death, as Lewis remained unchallenged and took his first win of the season ahead of Stoodley and Chard.

A slight increase of 18 cars for heat 2 were led away into turn 1 by 101 Zak Moores, from Kitching and Harry Heffer. Heffer made a quick move and took the lead by the exit of turn 2 as Moores went wide. 253 Charlie Heffer passed Newman on turn 2, with Kitching then losing 3rd to Broadway at the end of the opening lap. The 746 car then dropped 2 further places on the next lap as Pete Webb and Charlie Heffer moved ahead. Walding passed 82 Keith Richens on turn 2 as Charlie Heffer picked off Broadway for 3rd and Will Jackson was an early retirement.
776 James Trigg passed Newman as the latter was then hit by Walding into turn 3, sending the pair towards the fence and dropping them right down the order. Trigg then continued his progress as he passed Pete Webb down the back straight and quickly moved up into 3rd. Out front Harry Heffer had quickly built a large lead ahead of Charlie Heffer and Trigg. The latter made a move on the 253 car and climbed into 2nd on turn 2 as Moores retired and Richens lost out to 352 Andy Webb and Lewis on turns 3 and 4.
105 Louis Williams was next to gain on Richens, as Broadway passed Charlie Heffer into turn 1. The 253 car being moved wide enough to allow Kitching, Andy Webb and Lewis to all come through shortly afterwards. Webb then gained on Kitching for 5th, as Lewis followed him through before the pair moved ahead of Broadway on the following lap with Lewis slotting ahead of Webb into 3rd at the end of the lap.
421 Gary Webb passed Pete Webb down the back straight for 10th, with Somerton moving by the 280 car into turn 3. Freebody and Walding both retired with damage as Kitching passed Broadway for 6th on turn 1, before Richens also gained on the 245 car into turn 1 along with Gary Webb on turn 2. Pete Webb retook 10th place from Somerton down the back straight as Trigg closed the gap right down to Harry Heffer out front, but was unable to get close enough to challenge for the lead as Heffer held on for his 3rd win of the year ahead of Trigg and Lewis.

17 cars were on track for heat 3 and Joshua Heffer took advantage of his pole position start to lead into turn 1 ahead of Moores and Chard, while at the rear of the field Williams was slow away and dropped off the back of the pack. Moores snatched the lead from Heffer on turn 3, with Chard also moving through on the 255 car before the end of the opening lap. Charlie Heffer passed 623 Rob Dobie on the back straight and was following through by Izzy Jackson, Somerton and Stoodley.
Greening gained on Biddle on the exit of turn 4 as Moores and Chard swapped places for the lead, before the 101 car gained the advantage on the home straight and moved back into 1st. Trigg bested Charlie Heffer on turn 2 as Chard again passed Moores for the lead on turn 3 and Jackson moved up into 2nd on turn 3, before taking the lead half a lap later. Chard slipped back as Stoodley and Somerton got through on the back straight and took 2nd and 3rd respectively with Trigg also moving ahead on turn 3.
Moores slipped back down the order as Greening, Charlie Heffer and Andy Webb all picked up places. Trigg gained on Somerton for 3rd, as Greening also moved by the 210 car to slot into 4th. Chard lost out to Heffer and Muckian on turn 1 as Dobie retired with engine trouble. Greening then continued his progress as he moved up into 3rd ahead of Trigg on the back straight, while Chard passed Charlie Heffer on turn 4 and Muckian bested Somerton on turn 4. Stoodley lost 2nd to Greening as Somerton slipped to 7th behind Andy Webb, the latter then gaining on Trigg into turn 3 as Biddle passed Charlie Heffer on the same corner.
As the lap boards came out Greening dived underneath Jackson on the exit of turn 2 and took the lead; Jackson then involved in a crash on turn 3 with Chard that saw the pair go sliding on into the fence and out of the race. Trigg was another to retire as Richens picked off Somerton for 5th, before the pair both lost out to Williams on turn 2. Paul Webb spun on turn 3 while Biddle spun on the final lap on turn 3 and Joshua Heffer wound up in the fence at the same time. Greening was well clear to take his 5th win of the season ahead of Stoodley and Muckian.

24 cars made it out for the final which saw Moores take the lead ahead of Harry Heffer and Chard as Pete Webb passed Kitching into turn 1. On the second lap Walding passed Will Jackson on the exit of turn 2 and then gained on Paul Webb down the back straight, while Charlie Heffer moved up into 5th ahead of Kitching and Stoodley passed Broadway down the back straight.
Richens spun on turn 2 as Walding passed Andy Webb on turn 3 and Charlie Heffer moved ahead of Pete Webb on turn 2 for 4th. Greening climbed up into 6th ahead of Somerton as he gained several places in one lap, while Williams bested Kitching on turn 1. Harry Heffer moved into the lead ahead of Moores, before spinning and ending up on the infield at turn 3.
Somerton lost out to Lewis, Gary Webb and Williams on turn 3 as Walding gained on Charlie Heffer and Chard snatched the lead from Moores. Greening continued his rapid progress as he quickly climbed into 2nd ahead of Moores, while Lewis passed Biddle for 5th. Greening then challenged for the lead and passed Chard on the back straight as Walding passed Somerton on turn 3 for 9th. Pete and Gary Webb swapped places on turn 2, with Williams also gaining on the 280 car almost immediately.
Walding moved ahead of Biddle and Pete Webb to move into 7th as Will Jackson also gained on Webb for 8th. Somerton retired as Moores came under attack from the red graders behind him and dropped several places down the back straight. Lewis climbed into 2nd ahead of Chard as Jackson passed Walding for 6th. With 5 laps remaining Broadway spun on turn 2 as Gary Webb was bested by Williams and Jackson for 4th and 5th respectively, before the red flags came out for the stranded 245 car. As the field slowed, Walding's carb caught fire and he was forced into retirement.
The 4 lap restart saw Greening break away at the front as Muckian passed Andy Webb for 7th, the latter then losing out to Stoodley on the following corner. Jackson moved ahead of Williams on turn 2 to sit 4th as Chard was then reeled in by the red grade pack and dropped several places before being forced into retirement.
Dobie was helped around by Richens on turn 4 as Muckian gained on Williams on the same corner, before the pair tangled up on turn 2 and Muckian joined the list of cars to retire and Williams dropped out of the top 10. Greening was untouchable out front and took his 3rd final win of the season ahead of Lewis and Will Jackson.

The lively final unfortunately had an impact on the grand national as only 15 cars made it back out on track. Moores again was the leader into turn 1 ahead of Harry Heffer and Chard. Stoodley gained on Dobie on the back straight, with Richens then passing the 623 car at the start of the following lap. Gary passed Andy Webb on turn 4, with the latter losing out to Williams into turn 1, while Biddle gained on Dobie, who then came under attack from all 3 Webb brothers and Williams around turns 3 and 4.
Greening broke into the top 10 from his handicap start as he gained on Andy Webb into turn 1, as Gary Webb spun on turn 3 and became stuck on the infield and out of the race as a result. Williams passed Joshua Heffer on turn 4 for 5th as Greening again quickly picked up several places and moved into 5th as he passed Williams. Lewis gained on Andy Webb on turn 3 to move into 8th, with Will Jackson next to pass the 352 car.
Chard lost out to Greening for 4th down the back straight as Harry Heffer spun on turn 2 and out of 2nd place. Lewis bested Paul Webb around turn 2 as Chard slipped back to 9th behind Izzy Jackson, losing several places in quick succession. As the lap boards were shown, Moores lost the lead to Stoodley, who was chased through by Greening; the latter making a pass on the 535 car into turn 1 to take up the lead.
Moores was spun by Jackson on turn 4, which allowed Williams up into 3rd, before he was able to pass Stoodley in the closing stages. Dobie gained on Joshua Heffer for 10th while Lewis snatched 6th from Lewis. Greening was again unchallenged out front however and came through to take his third win of the day and according to the annoucement made by Keith Hook over the PA - the first person at Standlake to ever complete a final and grand national double. Williams and Stoodley completed the podium.
