The 8th running of Standlake's Open Championship raised a strong showing of 31 cars, despite several regulars missing in action.  Among the entry, 22 Callum Kelman was making his F2 debut having graduated from the Junior Mini Super Two formula, while 82 Steve Rickard made his first visit to Standlake and there was a first F2 outing in several years for 138 Kev Goldup. A slightly disappointing 23 cars were in the pits, leaving 10 no-shows on the day for what – at the time of writing – is the final curtain call for F2s at Ringwood. Despite this, there were some impressive travelling efforts. 744 Kyle Taylor and 819 Daniel Hewitt made their track debuts on a visit away from their local Barford track, as did Standlake’s 101 Zak Moores, while there were new cars for 386 Adam Huxtable and 915 Dave McNally.
