Ringwood F2 - Southern Championship - 14/5/22

Ringwood's Southern Championship was up for grabs on May 14th, as the tracks' highest turnout in 2 years saw 22 cars in the pits.  12 Vince Foley made his first appearance of the season, while 255 Joshua Heffer and 288 Mason Hall were track debutants.   A MAIDEN RINGWOOD OUTING FOR 288 MASON HALL 255 JOSHUA HEFFER ALSO MADE HIS TRACK DEBUT 346 Antony Warne made only his 2nd visit from Swaffham while Grimley-based 242 Mick Jackson's outing was his first at Ringwood in 12 months alongside regular visitors, defending Southern champion 299 Will Jackson and 681 Ollie Holford. 346 ANTHONY WARNE MADE HIS 2ND RINGWOOD VISIT OF THE SEASON, COMPLETE WITH NEW CAR The first of 2 graded order qualifying heats saw all cars on track, with 593 Matt Boddington getting the best start to lead into turn 1 ahead of Joshua Heffer and 756 Ryan Mulley, as Warne dropped back from 2nd to 4th on the opening corner.  Will Jackson and 150 John Enright got the better of 421 Gary Webb on turn 4 as Hall p

Standlake F2 - 2/05/22

The second bank holiday meeting in succession at Standlake saw another strong turnout of 26 cars in the pits.  There was a track debut for former BriSCA racer 746 Gary Kitching along with a first Standlake appearance for Ringwood racer 295 Leo Freebody.  The entry was completed by regular Grimley visitors, 42 Ash Greening, 245 Kyle Broadway, 252 Izzy and 299 Will Jackson and 716 Jim Muckian. A STANDLAKE DEBUT FOR 746 GARY KITCHING 295 LEO FREEBODY MADE HIS FIRST APPEARANCE AWAY FROM RINGWOOD 16 cars were out for heat 1 on a very dusty track, with 254 Harry Heffer making the strongest start to lead into turn 1 ahead of 542 Martin Chard and Broadway.  255 Joshua Heffer snatched 3rd from Broadway on turn 3, while 535 Ryan Stoodley passed 563 Keith Walding.  Kitching was an early spinner on turn 2, as Broadway retook 3rd place from Joshua Heffer a lap later.  6 Tyler Newman then reeled in Broadway and Heffer for 3rd, the latter also losing out to 280 Pete Webb. 856 Paul Webb was spun on tu
